The logistics manager of your frozen food chain in the Benelux region, and the partner who adds value to all the associated activities, while taking their impact on the living environment into account by pursuing sustainable entrepreneurship.

TOur client base includes purchasing organisations and supermarket chains, wholesalers, producers, importers and distributors. Once the clients have composed the service package of their choice, Froster proceeds to provide the services in question. Furthermore, you have the option of tailoring the service package, in mutual consultation, to meet your own wishes and requirements. This approach enables clients to focus on their core activities.

It goes without saying that Froster devotes the highest priority to both food safety and hygiene. Moreover, operating in strict accordance with the IFS code is one of the mainstays of our quality policy.

Our Services

STORAGE
We have storage capacity of around 3,000 pallet slots in Belgium and 22,000 in the Netherlands, where your pallets are stored in a fully controlled environment from minus 18°c to -25°c degrees. We can carry out stock management for you by issuing weekly reports.
DISTRIBUTION
The various truck and trailer combinations based at our Lokeren site in Belgium enable us to conveniently serve all customers. Our trucks are on the road daily throughout the Benelux region.
ORDER PICKING
Our warehouse is equipped for both bulk and order picking storage. This enables our dedicated employees to prepare your order to individual box level. As a result, your customers can tailor orders to their exact needs, thus holding less stock themselves.
INVOICING
Froster offers you the option of letting us take your invoicing off your hands entirely, enabling you to focus on your core business. Your customers are also bound to appreciate receiving 1 invoice, 1 order and 1 delivery.
POLARPACK
100% subsidiary of Froster, set up to package your products according to customer-specific requirements. It offers you the opportunity to continue to produce efficiently in bulk, by letting PolarPack pack your products in the packaging your customer wants. This entire process is carried out in an IFS certified environment at a temperature of approximately +4°C.

FAMILIY BUSINESS

Froster set up business as a wholesale supplier in 1980. Throughout the years, it continued to expand its services, ultimately setting up a complete logistics platform in 2013. In the process, Froster has established itself as a company with a sound understanding of the product, the producers and its customers.

Froster’s current CEO is John Rombouts, son of its founder Nico Rombouts. Nico established the family business in 1980, while John initially entered its employ back in 1982. In the intervening years, the latter remained closely involved in the company’s further development and expansion. Froster has nevertheless succeeded in retaining the characteristics of its humble beginnings: a close-knit family business, which set great store by personal contact.
